Rev. Gregg Carlson will be leading this 5-week class to discuss the Synoptic Gospels, commonly known as Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Please read these three Gospels ahead of time (there is no textbook).

Questions that will be explored:

Why do we have three Gospels so much alike and one Gospel (John) that is so different?

Who wrote them? When, where, and why were they written?

What do scholars teach us about the sources they used to create their Gospel?

How does deeply studying these books inform our faith today?
