Pilgrim is an open-minded, inclusive and caring church where all are welcome.

Come visit us!

We would love to have you visit. Everyone is welcome at our services. We meet in person and via Zoom at 11am EST on Sundays. We have people who attend from all over the world. Our service includes a Call to Worship, Prayer, Scripture Reading, and a sermon as well as instrumental and vocal music. You can participate as much or as little as you would like.

The link is the same every week. You are encouraged to sing along with the hymns and participate in the responsive readings on mute. Kids are encouraged to take part in the children's time. We have a time for joys and concerns where you may offer your prayer requests to the group. You can also put your requests in the chat.

What People Are Saying

“The sermons address what it means to be a loving, open-minded Christian.”

— Elizabeth T., student

"This is truly a warm service where all feel welcome."

— Jonathan Howe, USN Retired

"It's a safe space which allows us to continually remain our authentic selves minus fear of judgment or ridicule. It truly is a welcoming place for all people, no matter who you are or where you come from. Additionally, it's a place or people who have large and caring hearts for community, as well as one another."

— Ethan Pope

“Pilgrim has been a place for us to find home, community, and true welcome for our family for many years. We especially appreciate the commitment to diversity and justice, the openness of thought within the congregation, and Reverend Toledano’s inspiring and thoughtful sermons for these arduous times.”

— Charity Muse (she, her), counselor

In-person worship

We returned to in-person worship in June 2022. We chose this timeline in part because we are refreshing our sanctuary space and in part because we are watching Covid numbers and flu season.

Parking

We have ample parking just past the church. If the parking lot if full, you can park along the street or in the community center parking lot. Someone will greet you at the door and give you a bulletin, then you can go on into the sanctuary until worship begins. If you come late, no worries, just slip in the back.

Childcare

Childcare is provided each Sunday starting at 10:45 am. Ask the greeter to point you towards the nursery. Our childcare supervisor is a third-generation Pilgrim with a child in the nursery.

Children’s Sunday School

During the service, elementary school-aged children are invited to participate in Sunday School. Lessons are taught from the Progressive Christianity curriculum. Children stay with their family in the sanctuary until “Children’s Time” and then leave for Sunday School if they wish.

Coffee Hour and Adult Sunday School

After church we have some social time and usually coffee and snacks. Adult Sunday School starts around 12:15 for those who want to stick around to discuss the sermon and the scripture of the week.

Location
