I welcome the opportunity to officiate at the
ceremonies uniting men with women, men with men, and women with women. I
realize the State of Tennessee only recognizes the weddings of men and women. I
hope that changes soon here in Tennessee as it has in other states. Until that
happens, in keeping with our United Church of Christ national stand that
equality in marriages should be available to all, I will continue to be
available for marriages/holy unions for all who seek them.
