Holy Communion
Why are we Liberals so tongue-tied when it comes to speaking about our faith and church? Pastor Dave has some suggestions to make in his message: “One Came Running.” The Scripture Lesson is Acts 8:26-40.

Sunday, May 13th
Mother's Day
Come and celebrate the love we have received from our mothers, grandmothers and all the other women who have loved us. Pastor Dave’s topic is “Mommy Wars.” The Scripture Lesson is Paul’s controversial words in I Corinthians 14:33-50.

Sunday, May 20th
In 1966, two seminary professors, Thomas Altizer and William Hamilton, jointly published the book: “Radical Theology and the Death of God.” The book raised a firestorm of controversy. Dr. Hamilton was Pastor Dave’s professor of theology from 1960-64. Dr. Hamilton recently died and Pastor Dave wonders: “The Death of God — What Was It All About?” The Scripture Lesson is Psalm 14.

Memorial Sunday, May 27th
We remember those who gave their lives in their country’s service. Worship will include familiar Memorial Day hymns and music. Pastor Dave’s message is “The Speech That Changed America.” The Scripture Lesson is Ezekiel 37:1-14.
